Delete your Ask Mahaguru account
You can delete your Ask Mahaguru account, and everything stored against it, at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and when.
From inside the app
- Open Ask Mahaguru and sign in.
- Open the menu, then Account.
- Scroll to Ending your account and tap Delete account, then confirm.
If you can no longer sign in
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot get into your account, write to us from the email address the account uses and ask for it to be deleted: secretary@mahagurucenter.org
What is deleted
Deleting your account erases everything held against it:
- Your conversations: every question you asked and every answer you were given.
- Your profile, including your email address, name, country and date of birth.
- Your feedback on answers, and your monthly usage counts.
- Your consent records and your age check.
- Any spoken-answer audio generated for you.
Nothing that identifies you is kept. Counts of how often the service is used remain, but they carry no account, and were never linked to you.
When it happens
Your request is recorded straight away, and your account is erased after a 7-day pause. The pause exists so that a deletion made by mistake can still be undone.
During those 7 days you can cancel from the Account screen in the app. After that the erasure runs and cannot be reversed.
